NXT UK Results: Old School Picks

NXT UK was another round of Superstar picks of their favorite matches in WWE. This time, a classic from Wrestlemania Two, and a couple of modern NXT gems graced our screens.

“The Fashionista” Jinny: 6/28/17: NXT Women’s Championship Last Woman Standing Match: Nikki Cross vs. the NXT Women’s Champion: Asuka: Easily one of the most brutal matches on a weekly episode of NXT. The Champ Superplexed Cross through the announcer’s table and just barely made it up for the count of ten to retain her title.

Nina Samuels: Wrestlemania Two: 4/7/86: WWF Tag Team Championship Match: The Dream Team: Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine w/ Johnny Valiant vs. The British Bulldogs: Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid w/ Ozzy Osbourne: The British Bulldogs made history by becoming the first British champions in WWF. Valentine and Dynamite Kid’s noggins collided, and Smith made the cover to earn the Tag Team gold.

Aoife Valkyrie: Beast in the East: 7/4/15:  NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor vs. the NXT Champion: Kevin Owens: Balor came off like a superhero back in Japan where he was once known as Prince Devitt. The crowd came unglued when Balor pinned Owens with a Coup De Grace to become the new NXT Champion.
