Review Fix chats with singer/songwriter Loudhouth discusses his introduction to music, as well as new single, “Melancholy Boy.”

Review Fix: How did you get involved in music?

Loudhound: I started playing music around 16 but I didn’t really get into production until I was like 22 years old.

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Loudhound: I don’t have a methodically planned creative process but what I typically do is just trust my instincts when I’m writing and recording. Like I don’t like to overthink anything when Im creating, just let things happen.

Review Fix: What inspires you?

Loudhound: Life. All the ups and downs. Dealing with depression and anxiety. Old relationships, love and heartbreak, family, gaining perspective over past mistakes. The realities to life.

Review Fix: What does music mean to you?

Loudhound: Music is a great way for me to express how I truly feel when no ones around.

Review Fix: How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard you?

Loudhound: Indie Alternative Rock Popish music.

Review Fix: How are your live shows different from your studio work?

Loudhound: I haven’t played a live show yet.

Review Fix: What inspired your latest single?

Loudhound: My last relationship and how my ex girlfriend and I would always break up and get back together and because of my depression and anxiety I couldn’t understand if things were my fault, hers, or if we weren’t compatible. We just were not compatible.

Review Fix: What are your goals for the rest of 2020?

Loudhound: To keep releasing music regularly, growing the fan base and engaging more with my audience.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Loudhound: To keep releasing more music and enjoy life.
