AEW Dark Results: Pillman Jr. Debuts

Dark was eight matches this week and had its slow moments, but great wrestling made the show worth watching.

Matches:

Brian Pillman Jr. vs. “The Chairman” Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard: Pillman put up a hell of a fight but would fall to the C4. Spears loaded the glove on his way to the back and cracked the newcomer with a stiff left.

Rache Chanel vs. Big Swole: Britt Baker pissed Swole off from ringside, which was unfortunate for Chanel. Swole fired up and hit her opponent with everything and the kitchen sink, ending it with Dirty Dancing.

Luther vs. Frankie Kazarian w/ SCU: “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and Scorpio Sky: Kaz scored the win with a Victory Roll for his twentieth win in AEW.

Joe Alonzo, Brady Pierce, Tony Donati, and Faboo Andre vs. The Lucha Bros.: Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix, The Butcher and The Blade: The newbies didn’t know what hit them. Alonzo was brutalized and finally pinned by Penta.

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy w/ Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor vs. Will Hobbs: Cassidy dropped the big man with the Superman Punch milliseconds after the bell rang.

Michael Nakazawa vs. “The Captain” Shawn Dean: Ref Aubrey took his oil away, so Nak resorted to using his man thong as a lethal weapon, suffocating Dean with it for the win.

Serpentico vs. Scorpio Sky: Serpentico and Sky went the distance. But Sky would find a sudden TKO to put the match to bed.

Brandon Cutler and “The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates vs. Dark Order: Stu Grayson and Evil Uno: Avalon and Cutler would have to contend with the rest of Dark Order which put Cutler out of commission. Grayson used the opportunity to hit the Librarian with Nightfall for the pinfall victory.
