AEW Dynamite Results: Cody Leading By Example

Warhorse turned heads in his match with Cody, and Matt Cardona debuted. MJF cut a scathing campaign-rally style promo and challenged Mox for All Out. Overall it was an amazing show.

Matches:

Ten Man Tag Team Match: Inner Circle: Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, Jake Hager, and “Le Champion” Chris Jericho vs. Best Friends: Trent, Chuck Taylor, “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, and Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus w/ Marko Stunt: Matt Hardy showed up out of nowhere to shove Guevara off the top rope into the clutches of Luchasaurus. The dinosaur planted him with a sit-out Chokeslam and then decapitated him with a Windmill Roundhouse for the pinfall victory.

TNT Championship Match: Warhorse vs. The TNT Champion: “The American Nightmare” Cody w/ “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson: Warhorse was within milliseconds of taking Cody’s title on multiple occasions during the match. But like Eddie Kingston last week, a bum knee cost him the match when Cody locked in the Figure Four. Alex Reynolds and John Silver of Dark Order tried to jump Cody and Warhorse, but Matt Cardona, formerly Zack Ryder ran in to make the save.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Dark Order: Stu Grayson and Evil Uno w/ Dark Order vs. The AEW World Tag Team Champions: “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega: Mr. Brodie Lee was incensed because a Buckshot Lariat/ V-Trigger put Dark Order away. Lee summoned the entirety of the faction to attack the champs but the Young Bucks and FTR evened up the numbers and drove them off.

Diamante vs. The AEW Women’s World Champion: Hikaru Shida: Diamante gave the Champ a hell of a fight but would fall to the Running Knee

No DQ Tornado Tag Match: “The Machine” Brian Cage and “Absolute” Ricky Starks vs, Darby Allin and the AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley: Allin decided a Coffin Drop off the entrance tunnels onto Starks and Cage was an appropriate entrance. Allin brought out a skateboard with thumbtacks on the bottom and jumped off the top rope with it onto Starks’ back for a huge win. Next week the Relentless One will take on Mox for his title.
