AEW Dynamite Results: Le Champion Doesn’t Sell Cassidy Short

Night two of Fyter Fest tore the house down. Every match was exciting, but the main event stole the show. Orange Cassidy had the performance of a lifetime. Now it’s on to Fight for the Fallen next week.

Matches:

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Private Party: Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen vs. The AEW World Tag Team Champions: “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega: It’s only a matter of time before Private Party hold gold, but tonight was not that night. Page and Omega retained with the Last Call.

“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer w/ Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela w/ “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss: It’s not certain if Janela survived a Blackout off the apron through a table, but he definitely stayed down for three.

The Butcher, The Blade, and the Lucha Bros: Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. vs. FTR: Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler, and the Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson: The match was as chaotic as they come. Everyone went full throttle the whole time. The Lucha Bros would isolate Matt Jackson and hit the LB Driver for the win.

Kenzie Paige and KiLynn King vs. “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose: Rose Beast Bombed Paige onto King to pin both women in dominant fashion. After the match the Native Beast grabbed a stick to tell the audience she has found a manager and is coming back for her Women’s World Championship.

“The Exalted One” Brodie Lee, Stu Grayson, and Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana w/ Dark Order vs. SCU: Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels: Lee fed the pinfall to Cabana after beheading Daniels with a Discus Lariat from behind.

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy w/ Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor vs. “Le Champion” Chris Jericho w/ Santana and Ortiz: Cassidy actually tried, and gave Jericho all he could handle. However, a Judas Effect would stop Freshly Squeezed in his tracks, to give Le Champion the win.
