Review Fix Exclusive: Motorcycle’s KT Lamond Talks Goals And More

Review Fix chats with like a Motorcycle’s KT Lamond, who answered these questions with lyrics from their favorite tracks. Can you guess which ones they are? Scroll down to find out.

Review Fix: How did you get involved in music?

KT Lamond: When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother, what will I be? Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? Here’s what she said to me: “No.” So I asked for a guitar instead.

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Lamond: Usually, one of us will Wake up, Grab a brush and put a little makeup, Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup. At this point, usually wonder why we left the keys upon the table then go create another fable. Then jam on it and it evolves into something else completely.

Review Fix: What inspires you?

Lamond: I know this dude named guitar George. He knows all the chords. They said an old guitar is all he can afford when he gets up under the lights to play his thing. He slays though. A true inspiration.

Review Fix: What does music mean to you?

Lamond: It is the rhythm of my life. It is the rhythm of the night. Oh, yeah.

Review Fix: How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard you?

Lamond: That’s a tough one but honestly: We will… we will rock you. Everybody. We will rock you.

Review Fix: What inspired your latest single?

Lamond: It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fucked.

Review Fix: What are your goals for the rest of 2020?

Lamond: Hmm, I’d say to regain the ability to roam if we want to. Roam around the world. You know, just really ROAM if we want to… Without wings, without wheels… Without anything but the love we feel.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Lamond: Our end game is to reach a level where we can drink wine with diamonds in the glass by the case. We feel it is the meaning of expensive taste.

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Lamond: We used to host a reoccurring music themed game show that we’ve now moved onto YouTube. It’s aptly titled “Like A Motorcycle’s Rock and Roll Round Up” – if you’re a fan of musical trivia, guessing lyrics, and irreverent humour – you’ll be right at home.
