AEW Dark Results: Bloated But Fun

Dark was eleven matches long this week and was the same story as usual. A bloated card with some great wrestling.

Matches:

Michael Nakazawa vs. “Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford: Nakazawa’s deadly man thong backfired once again and Sabian hit the Deathly Hallows to score the win.

Shawn Dean and Frank Stone vs. “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss and “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela: Dean was impressive as always, but Kiss and Janela came away with the win thanks to an Elbow Drop and a Split Leg Drop.

Will Hobbs vs. Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard: Spears took out the legs of the big man and hoisted him up for the Death Valley Driver for the pinfall victory.

The Hybrid Two: Jack Evans and Angelico vs. The Initiative: Brandon Cutler and “The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates: A 630 Senton from Evans put Avalon down for the count to continue the Initiative’s losing streak.

Red Velvet vs. Abadon: Velvet fell to Abadon’s Cemetary Drive modified Chinbuster.

Dark Order: John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and Colt Cabana vs. D3, Ryzin, and Faboo Andre: Dark Order singled out D3 and dropped him with a flurry of offense, capped off with a double flipping reverse DDT.

“Absolute” Ricky Starks vs. Lee Johnson: Starks played possum and let Johnson climb to the top rope, and capitalized by kicking his legs out from underneath him to hit Ro Sham Beaux and win the match.

Baron Black and Tony Donati vs. Santana and Ortiz: Ortiz slammed Donati with a Powerbomb and sent him into a Penalty Kick from Santana to secure the win.

“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer w/ Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Jon Cruz and Jessy Sorensen: Archer handled his two opponents with ease and pinned them both with double EBD Claws.

Alan “V” Angels vs. Billy Gunn: The Ass Man used his size to overpower Angels and put him down with a Wristlock Slam.

Private Party: Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy, and SCU: Frankie Kazarian and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. The Lucha Bros: Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix, and The Butcher and The Blade: Daniels fell victim to a Package Piledriver by Penta but found the wherewithal to kick out, only to eat Full Death from BnB and a cover from Blade to end the match.
