AEW Dynamite Results: Orange Steals the Show

Jericho and Cassidy’s war of words stole the show. Freshly Squeezed showed the world he’s as good on the mic as he is in the ring. Jake Hager jumped Cassidy and threw him into a Judas Effect to leave him laying. The show was great from top to bottom, especially the main event that saw Darby Allin challenge Mox for the AEW World Championship.

Matches:

Twelve-Man Tag Team Match: FTR: Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler, The Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson, and the World Tag Team Champions: Kenny Omega, and “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Dark Order: Mr. Brodie Lee, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Ten, Five, and “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana: The final sequence was an insane flurry of Superkicks, V-Triggers, and Lariats. Hangman swung wide with a Buckshot Lariat, and Lee capitalized with a Discus Lariat of his own and covered Page for the pinfall victory.

Santana and Ortiz vs. Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor: Santana and Ortiz set up for a Street Sweeper but Chucky T intercepted. Trent rolled up Ortiz for the win.

Alex Reynolds and John Silver vs. The TNT Champion: “The American Nightmare” Cody and Matt Cardona: Cardona flattened Reynolds with the Radio Silence Flying Legdrop for the win. Scorpio Sky showed up while Cody made his exit to stare him down.

Big Swole vs. Reba: Britt Baker got to choose Swole’s opponent and named her assistant, Reba. who’s name is actually Rebel. Unfortunately, she got cracked with Dirty Dancing and went down for the count.

AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin vs. The AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley: Allin took the beating of a lifetime and refused to stay down. But not even a shot to the head with the title from MJF and a Coffin Drop would stop Mox. After a headlock that lasted a little too long, a Piledriver, and a Paradigm Shift, Mox was finally able to pin Allin.
