NXT UK Results: Another Round of Picks

Three more picks graced our screens this week. At TakeOver 30 they announced the UK Division will return on September 17th. Though the picks have given us a chance to relive some modern classics, or even discover some forgotten gems. 

Picks:

William Regal: Black Tiger vs. The Cobra: 12/28/84: Cobra dropped Tiger on his head with a Spike Piledriver and followed up with a top-rope Senton to score the win in this tribute to Mark “Rollerball” Rocco.

Toni Storm: Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai: 2018 Mae Young Classic Finals: 10/28/18: Shirai went for a Moonsault but Storm got her knees up in time. The Aussie followed up with Storm Zero to win the match and make history in WWE.

Ilja Dragunov: Antonio Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn: NXT ArRival: 2/27/14: This match is as classic as they come in NXT. Zayn and Cesaro went to war for over twenty minutes, and either man could have taken it multiple times. Eventually, the Swiss Cyborg cracked his neck and planted Zayn with a Neutralizer for the pinfall victory.
