WWE RAW Coverage: Demoted

The lackluster card and clear promotion of Smackdown on RAW for the second week in a row proved that RAW is now the #3 show in the WWE, behind NXT and Smackdown.

Away from the beginning of a feud between Murphy and Seth Rollins and Mustafa Ali’s joining Retribution, RAW was passable entirely.

Matches:

WWE RAW Champion Asuka, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke vs. Zelina Vega, Natalya and Lana: Rose won with the Running Knee and after the match, the Women’s Tag Team Champions hit the ring and Mia Jax put Lana through the announce table for the third time in four weeks.

Dominik Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy: Murphy got the win for his team, but this was their last match as a team as an hour later, Rollins took out his former disciple.

Exhibition Match: Braun Strowman vs. Keith Lee: The match ended in a double count-out, but marked the beginning of what will be a fun feud.

Apollo Crews and Ricochet w/Mustafa Ali vs. The Hurt Business: Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin w/MVP: Lashley got the win with the Hurt Lock, but later Ali told Lashley he wanted a piece.

WWE Women Tag Team Champions: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax vs. The Riot Squad: Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan: The RiotSquad fought hard, but Baszler got the win with the Kurifuda Lock.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: The Street Profits: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins vs. Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode: Ford nearly pinned Orton with the Frog Splash and McIntyre was dishing out Claymores but Orton won with an RKO out of nowhere.
