Following Wrestlemania 37, you’d expect a hearty dose of returns and shocking moments, right? Away from a great promo from Charlotte Flair and the in-ring return of the Viking Raiders, this week’s RAW was a dud.
Matches:
WWE Champion Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Riddle: Riddle hit a Rip-Cord Knee but missed the Senton, which allowed the already dominant Lashley to win with The Hurt Lock.
The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin: The Raiders were solid and polished off the former Tag Team Champions with the Assisted Powerslam.
RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka: These two beat on one another but Charlotte Flair got involved and beat on both competitors to get the match thrown out.
Damian Priest vs. The Miz and John Morrison w/Maryse: Priest had the match in hand until Maryse got involved and Miz won with a Rollup and his feet on the ropes.
Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke vs. Women’s Tag Team Champions: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler: Jax ended up falling on the apron (a poke at Mandy’s fall at Mania). Rose and Brooke laughed and Jax ended up running after them and getting counted out.
Jaxson Ryker and Elias vs. The New Day: Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston: Ryker and Elias were solid, but TND won with The Midnight Hour.
Randy Orton vs. Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre: Orton hit Strowman with an RKO, but McIntyre slipped in and nailed him with the Claymore for the win. After the match, MVP hit the ramp before T-Bar and Mase hit the Double-Team Powerbomb/Side Effect on him to end the show.
