NXT Coverage: Sarray Continues to Rise, New Women’s Tag Team Champions

Drama in every title division, The Way’s capturing of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles and another impressive outing from Sarray made for a fun week of NXT.

Falls Count Anywhere: Leon Ruff vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott: An excellent encounter that saw Swerve get some help from AJ Francis and eventually win with the JML.

Cameron Grimes vs. Asher Hale: Grimes won with the Cave-In and after the match seemed to avoid a possible alliance with Ever-Rise.

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher vs. Grizzled Young Veterans: James Drake and Zack Gibson: Thatcher got the win with the Arm-Bar. This was a physical one that needs to be revisited.

Sarray vs. Zayda Ramier: An extended squash that saw Sarray hit the German and Saito Duplexes in her victory.

LA Knight vs. Jake Atlas: Another squash as Knight got the relatively easy win.

NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions: Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon vs. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell: This match had tables, chairs, brass knuckles. It was a beautiful train wreck. It took LeRae and the Wicked Stepsister on a chair to earn The Way the win in one of the toughest Women’s matches in NXT history.
