NXT Coverage: Cole and O’Reilly Do It Again

Only NXT could have a great event without a world title match and that’s exactly what Great American Bash was. Solid from start to finish, the black and gold brand is deep as hell and a blast to watch in the ring.

Matches:

NXT Tag Team Champions MSK: Wes Lee and Nash Carter vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher: Lee was able to steal the win with an Inside Cradle in a war that may drive a wedge between Thatcher and Ciampa.

Million Dollar Champion LA Knight vs. Cameron Grimes (If Grimes loses, he becomes Knight’s butler): Grimes endeared himself to the NXT fan base here. He did everything but win. Knight was smarter and won with the BFT.

NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships: The Way: Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell vs. Io Shirai and Zoey Stark:

Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly: Can’t say enough enough here. Every move in both wrestlers’ arsenals were used and kicked out of. Amazing match. Plenty of counters and storytelling. It wasn’t until after the second Panama Sunrise and Last Shot that Cole was able to put O’Reilly away.
