WWE RAW Coverage: Big E New WWE Champion

With Extreme Rules right around the corner, this week’s RAW was a fatty, bloated mess before a great main event between Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley and the Money in the Bank Cash-in of Big E which led to the crowning of a new WWE Champion.

Matches:

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler: Flair was in control throughout until Nia Jax hit the ring, but Flair still won with the Yakuza Kick after Jax turned her back on Baszler again. After the match Alexa Bliss hit the ring again and the two traded barbs before Bliss hit the Code Red to end the segment.

The Viking Raiders Erik and Ivar and Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal, Veer and Shanky: McIntyre got the win with The Claymore.

United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Jeff Hardy: Priest managed to just squeeze out a win but Sheamus beat on him after the bell.

Nikki ASH w/Rhea Ripley vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Tamina Snuka w/Natalya Neidhart: ASH scored the huge upset, but Tamina and Natalya beat on them after the bell. 

Rhea Ripley w/Nikki ASH vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Natalya Neidhart w/Tamina Snuka: ASH was a huge help and allowed Ripley to get the submission victory.

The New Day: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods and Mansoor and Mustafa Ali vs. AJ Styles, Omos, Mace and T-Bar: Omos cleaned house and destroyed Wood with a Chokebomb.

Doudrop vs. Eva Marie: Another squash win for Doudrop.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Randy Orton: Orton hit everything but the RKO and kicked out of the Spear, before he avoided the Hurt Lock and hit the RKO, but MVP got involved. Orton responded with an RKO on the outside on MVP. Lashley responded with another Spear this time for the win. After the match, Lashley Chokeslammed Orton through the announce table and hurt his knee. Soon enough Big E. Cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Big E.: Lashley Started off hot and nearly won with a Spear. Big E then got the win with the reverse of the Dominator into the Big Ending.
