AEW Dynamite Coverage: Deep

Although there were just five matches this week on Dynamite, the amount of promo and drama set a solid balance. All five matches were meaningful and leant themselves to ongoing storylines. This was as deep an episode of Dynamite as ever.

Alan Angels vs. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega: Angels hung in there but Omega got the win and then tried to take some liberties before Hangman Page made the save.

Aerostar and Samuray Del Sol vs. AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR: Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood w/Tully Blanchard: Lots of offense and either team could have won before Wheeler used a handful of tights on a School Boy reversal to win.

TBS Title Tournament: Jamie Hayter w/Rebel vs. Anna Jay and AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker: Interference from Rebel and Baker allowed Hayter to win with the Lariat. After the match Tay Conti hit the ring and got in some offense before she fell to the numbers game and Thunder Rosa made the save.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Cody Rhodes w/Arn Anderson: Adrade got the win thanks to help from FTR. After the match, the Lucha Brothers made the save.

AEW World Title Eliminator: Orange Cassidy vs. Miro: Miro had to work for it, but he got the win with The Accolade.
