AEW Dynamite Coverage: Punk Destroys LI Crowd, MJF Cuts Off Wardlow

With Winter is Coming next week, AEW put on a mid-card heavy show that delivered in the ring and thanks to the return of Trent Barretta and some awesome promo from CM Punk.

The Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal: MJF turned his back on Wardlow and Dante Martin left Team Tazz, leaving both with a match next week for the Diamond Ring.

Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus and Varsity Blondes: Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison vs. The Acclaimed: Max Castor and Anthony Bowns and 2.0: Jeff Parker and Matt Lee: Danny Garcia tried to get involved, but Eddie Kingston evened things out before Jungle Boy beat Caster with the Snare Trap.

Best Friends: Rocky Romero and Chuck Taylor w/Orange Cassidy vs. Superkliq: Nick and Matt Jackson w/Adam Cole and Brandon Cutler: Lots of twists and turns and the returning Trent was great at the end, but the Bucks won with The Meltzer Driver.

Riho vs. Jamie Hayter w/Rebel and AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker: Riho wow iti a Crucifix Bomb from the top and a Running Knee, but Baker got the last laugh with Lock Jaw.

Brian Danielson vs. John Silver: Danielson indeed stomped in Silver’s head and won with the Rings of Saturn, but it seems that he just pissed off Hangman Page even more.
