AEW Dynamite Coverage: Sammy Guevara Wins TNT Title Again

Sammy Guevara’s TNT Title win and mire drama between MJF and CM Punk, as well as an awesome encounter between Orange Cassidy and Adam Cole made for a solid episode of Dynamite.

Matches:

Ladder Match: TNT Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Interim TNT Champion Sammy Guevara: I’d like to see the Rhodes detractors say anything after this match. He looked great and made Sammy look even better in a bout that saw Guevara use one of the Titles on Rhodes before unhooking the both of them to claim the title.

Handicap Match: Wardlow vs. Elijah Dean and James Alexander: Another dominant, Poserbomb-fueled win.

Trios Match: The Inner Circle: Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz  vs. Daniel Garcia & 2Point0: Matt Lee and Jeff Parker: Inner Circle couldn’t get along at all. Jericho took things over and got his tram the win, but he’s not happy.

Red Velvet vs. “Legit” Leyla Hirsch: Hirsch got the win with a handful of tights.

Lights Out Match: Adam Cole vs. Orange Cassidy: Another great match between these two that went all over the ring and outside. Indie star DanHausen even got involved.

Eventually, The Best Friends and Elite hit the ring and everything broke down. Cole kicked out of Beach Break and got pissed. He then hit the Orange Punch, but his already injured didn’t allow him to pin Cole. Cole then went for the Low Blow, but Cassidy had a steel jock protector on. Cole then kicked out of a Panama Sunrise and the action spilled to the Gorilla Position. Cole put Cassidy through a table here too, but Cassidy kicked out again. Now on the ramp, Cole readied for The Boom, but Cassidy hit the Superkick, but Cole hit him with a Light and climbed to the top of the entry way. Cassidy met him up there and hit a Low Blow and the Side Effect through the stage.
