WWE RAW Coverage: Asuka Headed to MITB

Don’t let another flat Vincent McMahon promo fool you- RAW was solid tonight as the card for Money in the Bank continues to piece together slowly.

Matches:

WWE Raw Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan: After a long segment in the mic involving Bianca Belair and all these women, a match was booked and ironically Carmella, who snuck into the match in the first place, won with a Super Kick.

Money in the Bank Qualifier: Riddle vs. Omos w/MVP: Riddle cut a passionate promo, but Omos got the win with the Choke Bomb. After the match, Omos delivered the maneuver again. Soon enough, Seth Rollins hit the ring and beat on Riddle as well.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso vs. Angelo Dawkins w/Montez Ford: Dawkins got the shocking win with his Seated Spinebuster on Uso, who was going for his trademark Splash. A middling encounter, but one that furthers the feud.

Gauntlet (If Lashley wins, he gets United States Title match at Money in the Bank): Bobby Lashley vs. Otis, Chad Gable and Austin Theory: Lashley survived all three and beat Theory with an Inside Cradle on a counter of the ATL.

AJ Styles vs. Ciampa: Following Miz TV, Styles made quick work of the former NXT Champion and hit Miz with The Styles Clash.

Money in the Bank Qualifier: Becky Lynch vs. Asuka: These two deserved more time. This is a pay-per-view level main event and the passion was there. Asuka got the hard-fought win to head to Money in the Bank.
