AEW Dynamite Coverage: Mox and American Dragon Ready for Face Off

The ongoing quest to get a new AEW Heavyweight Champion, as well as the furthering of several other key storylines and MJF’s new faction, made for a solid episode of Dynamite.

Grand Slam Tournament of Champions: Sammy Guevara vs. Jon Moxley: Not even interference rom Tay Melo and Anna Jay could help Guevara in a highly-completive match that saw Mox pick up the W.

Jungle Boy vs. Jay Lethal w/Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh: A competitive encounter but one that saw Jungle Boy win with the Snare Trap.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Matt DiMartino: A squash match that saw Hobbs got an easy win. After the match, Ricky Starks hit the ring to continue that feud.

The Lucha Bros: Rey Fenix and Pentagon vs. AEW Tag Team Champions Swerve in our Glory: Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee: Best match of the night with plenty of offense from both sides before Lee put Pentagon away for the win.

Interim AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm and Athena vs. Serena Deeb and Britt Baker: Baker and Deeb got the win, but this set up a Deeb/Storm encounter beautifully.

Grand Slam Tournament of Champions: Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson: A war that saw Danielson got the submission victory with the Crossface. It was absolutely an earned win.
