AEW Dynamite Coverage: Titles and Drama

With drama in every title division in AEW and ROH, the show mattered this week and makes the future just as fun.

Matches:

MJF vs. Wheeler Yuta: This was a great opener that saw MJF finally win with the Salt of the Earth. After the match, Lee Moriarty and Stokely Hathaway led an attack on Yuta that MJF didn’t get involved in. William Regal then hit the ring to make sure Yuta was safe.

Jay Lethal vs. Darby Allin: Lethal had to call off Satnum Singh and Sonjay Dutt, which ironically cost him the match as Allin was able to win with Last Supper.

Brian Cage w/Prince Nana vs. TNT Champion Wardlow: After four Powerbombs, Wardlow got a huge win. Afterward- it appears, Sami Joe and FTR will join Wardlow in a feud with The Embassy.

AEW Interim Women’s Champion Toni Storm, Athena and Willow Nightengale w/Saraya vs. Serena Deeb, Penelope Ford and Jamie Hayter w/Kip Sabian, Rebel and Britt Baker: Nightingale got the win with the Death Bomb and after the match, Saraya attacked Baker.

Hangman Page vs. Rush: Page got the win with Buckshot in a good one that was overshadowed by Jon Moxley hitting the ring afterward and warning Page to watch his mouth.

Luchasaurus w/Christian Cage vs. Fuego Del Sol: Taurus squashed his opponent and afterward, Jungle Boy hit the ring to continue their feud.

ROH Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara vs. ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia and Brian Danielson: This was a showcase match for Garcia- who proved he belonged- until Jericho blasted him with the ROH Title, which allowed Guevara to get the win.
