NXT Coverage: Building For Deadline

With Deadline on the way, NXT continues to build up several of its mid-card feuds.

Wendy Choo vs. Cora Jade: This is just the beginning of what’s going to be a fun mid-card feud as Jade won with the DDT.

Kiana James vs. Ivy Nile w/Tatum Paxley: Nile got the easy win with the Dragon Sleeper and the Creeds called out Indus Sher.

Scrypts vs. Guru Raj: Reggie is in a mask now and got an easy win.

Sol Ruca vs. Zoey Stark: The rookie held her own, but Stark got the dominant win. After the match, Stark dealt with Nikkita Lyons but made it out safely.

Chase U: Andre Chase and Duke Hudson w/ Thea Hail vs. NXT Tag Team Champions: Pretty Deadly: Kit Wilson and Elton Prince: Some good back and forth until Hudson took out Chase by accident before Pretty Deadly hit the Neckbreaker Powerbomb combo.

Carmelo Hayes vs. North American Champion Wes Lee: These two traded a ton of near-falls. This was an athletic contest. Lee stepped up big time. Lee eventually won with the modified Michinoku Driver. After the match, Dijak returned and hit Feast Your Eyes on the Champion.
