AEW Dynamite Coverage: Ricky Starks Makes His Name

The killer promo and solid main event made for a great episode of Dynamite.

Not only did Starks win this one, his post-match promo with MJF was stuff of legend.

Not only did MJF set up his match with Bryan Danielson, but he got the crowd so behind Starks, that Starks didn’t even have to deliver on the mic- but he did.

TNT Champion Samoa Joe vs. Darby Allin: Allin is a fan favorite, but Joe just tapped him out in a clear show of strength.

Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager: Castagnoli got the win with a European Uppercut. After the match, William Regal made an announcement as to why he turned his back on the Blackpool Combat Club.

TBS Champion Jade Cargill, Red Velvet and Leila Grey vs. Kiera Hogan, Sky Blue and Madison Rayne: Cargill steamrolled and beat Rayne with Jaded.

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed: Max Caster and Anthony Bowens w/Billy Gunn vs. ROH, IWGP and AAA Tag Team Champions FTR: Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood: FTR was dominant, but Master countered a Powerbomb into a pinning combination to steal the win in a lengthy and fun war. After the match, The Ass Boys, speaking on behalf of the Briscoes, challenged FTR to a Dog Collar match at Final Battle.
