Review Fix Exclusive: Jesse Lively Talks Pixel Reboot

Review Fix chats with Jesse Lively, Founder of Pixel Reboot, who discusses the origin of the company, the future and its role at this year’s Maker Faire Coney Island.

Review Fix: What do you make?

Jesse Lively: I’m the founder of Pixel Reboot, a Gaming news and Review site that also streams live gaming and creates tutorials for various games. In 2019, we built our first Mobile Gaming Unit (MGU) with the goal of streaming live in public places and interacting with live audiences. Over time, we’ve continued to grow and adapt, adding celebrity guests to our streams, touring different states, and working with brands like Gfuel, Warframe, and our newest client, New York Life.

Review Fix: Why do you make it?

Lively: Our main goal when creating the Mobile Gaming Unit was to establish a space where streamers and game developers could showcase their talents and interact with a live crowd. Additionally, we aimed to provide our sponsors with brand awareness in high-traffic areas like Times Square at a fraction of the cost but a human interaction. We’ve also expanded our activities to include events and birthday parties, offering kids a memorable gaming experience.

Review Fix: What are your goals with it?

Lively: Pixel Reboot aspires to become a hub for developers to exhibit their games in public spaces while streaming live on platforms like Twitch & YouTube. We intend to offer our sponsors multiple avenues to make that crucial first point of contact and create memorable experiences. As we continue to grow, we plan to develop new and improved MGUs, some dedicated solely to streaming and others focused on events.

Review Fix: What do you plan on doing at this year’s Maker Faire?

Lively: At this year’s Maker Faire, we will showcase the exterior setup of our truck for events and parties. We’ll provide games for kids to play and offer prizes they can win. In the afternoon, we’ll activate the streaming feature and have some of our guest streamers play games and interact with attendees live and online at the Maker Faire.

Review Fix: Where can people find out more?

Lively: To learn more about Pixel Reboot, visit our website. You can watch our reviews and tutorials on YouTube.com/pixelreboot or catch us live on Twitch.tv/pixelreboot. If you are looking to rent the Mobile Gaming Unit for a event contact us here “Lets Party”.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Lively: Our next steps involve continuing our event and party activities while expanding our online presence. We plan to create opportunities for our sponsors to gain followers and achieve exposure with Pixel Reboot’s MGU.
