WWE RAW Power Rankings: No More Fringing for the Lunatic

With a ton of drama, a beefy card and the promise of an awesome Main Event at Payback, this week’s episode of RAW was a more than solid one.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see what the wild and crazy WWE World Heavyweight title picture looks like and who’s proving they don’t need a title to be relevant.

The Real Tag Team Champions: Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro: These guys aren’t the Tag Team Champions, but they are by far the best team in the promotion. Fresh off a solid win against The Ascension, Kidd and Cesaro need a title match- and soon.

Honorable Mention: Ryback: In one of his most intriguing promos of his young career, “The Big Guy” challenged Bray Wyatt to do his worst, claiming that he is indeed not afraid of anything. While the jury is still out if Ryback can handle the “New Face of Fear,” he’s certainly going to get a shot at him.

5: The New Day: Say what you want about this trio, that the division is better off with Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro as champions, or even that the Lucha Dragons deserve a shot, but the New Day managed to use quick tags and strikes to get a win over Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. While they may just be transitional champions, it’ll be interesting to see what they do to the now weak Tag Team scene in the WWE.

4: Seth Rollins: His loss to Dean Ambrose this week on RAW sets up a massive Fatal Four-Way at Payback and stacks the deck against Rollins. For those that thought this PPV was going to be a passable one, things just definitely got spicy.

3: Roman Reigns: He’s been talking a ton of smack the past few weeks and after his loss at Wrestlemania, Reigns’ stock continues to drop. However, it’s hard to ignore the possibilities his character has and with another shot at the title, he’s got another chance to prove what he’s capable of.

2: Randy Orton: He wants to get Seth Rollins alone and it’s not going to happen. Regardless, he’s still in the mix and he’s more relevant than ever.

1: Dean Ambrose: His win over Seth Rollins moves him up the card to a spot many people believed he belonged to be in quite a while ago. A true fan favorite, Ambrose is the coolest rebel in the company since CM Punk and someone who definitely adds some much needed freshness to the WWE World Heavyweight title picture.
