This was probably the best week of Ring of Honor on Destination America yet.
We get it now. This show has either no storyline at all or the type of plot development that’ll put a WWE fan to sleep. Thankfully, ROH is all about the in-ring action. With two title matches, both with plenty of drama and even more athleticism, this week was awesome. Although there were no title changes, the thought that there could have been was enough to keep you glued to TV for the entire hour.
Matches:
The Young Bucks: Matt and Nick Jackson vs. ROH Tag Team Champions The Addiction: Frank Kazarian and Christopher Daniels w/Chris Sabin: The Young Bucks were on fire from the start as they took out Daniels with a Double Superkick. They later put some double-team offense on Kazarian and beat on Sabin, but eventually The Addiction fought back by cutting off the ring and using their heel tactics to slow the match down. But after Matt nailed the Tornado Stunner on Daniels and tagged his brother in, Nick hit Daniels with the Tornado DDT on the outside and Kazarian with the X-Factor for a near-fall. Kazarian continued to take a beating after the Cannonball and Senton, but Daniels made the save. The Addiction fought back with some double team offense and Daniels hit a Urinage, but ended up missing the Best Moonsault ever, allowing the Bucks to hit a ton of Super Kicks to even things up. After Kazarian locked in a Submission, the Kingdom took out Daniels and allowed the Bucks to hit the Turnbuckle Powerbomb/Enzigieri. Nick then took out the Kingdom with a Moonsault and even though the Bucks hit the Spike Piledriver, the referee was pulled out of the ring before the three count. Daniels then used the belt to take out Nick, but Matt used it to even things up. Focused on Maria Kanellis, Matt was Rolled Up, with some help from his tights to get the win.
