DEEP SILVER’S CAPTIVATING MYSTERY TALE SECRET FILES: TUNGUSKA TO BE RELEASED IN JUNE

HERMOSA BEACH, CA – Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a worldwide producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, announced today that the Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ releases of the suspenseful mystery thriller, Secret Files: Tunguska, will ship to retail stores on June 30, 2010.

In Secret Files: Tunguska, players take on the role of Nina Kalenkov, daughter of a brilliant scientist who recently vanished without a trace. Nina soon comes to discover her father had been involved in top-secret scientific research in the Tunguska region of Siberia, site of the mysterious and controversial 1908 Tunguska Explosion. Desperate to find her missing father, Nina embarks on a journey, piecing together clues to discover where her father might be and understand the connection between his past and his disappearance.

Secret Files: Tunguska features a captivating story in which players utilize traditional point-and-click gameplay to search for clues and follow leads to Dr. Kalenkov’s location. The game includes several remarkable twists and bonus features, such as the ability to combine objects to solve in-game puzzles and a finder tool which shows the player all interactive areas if they need a hint. With over 100 stunningly rendered locations, a suspenseful storyline and beautifully animated cinematics, Secret Files: Tunguska seeks to provide an interactive mystery experience and a deep, entrancing tale.

“We’ve seen a resurgence of interest in traditional point-and-click adventures as of late, especially with our European release of The Whispered World,” said Deep Silver master sleuth Jon Schutts. “With an intriguing storyline, clever puzzles and over ten hours of gameplay, we think Secret Files: Tunguska would be a great option for Wii and Nintendo DS owners looking to get a quality, satisfying experience from this genre on their favorite consoles – whether at home or on the road.”

Secret Files: Tunguska on Wii and Nintendo DS will ship to retailers on June 30, 2010, with a suggested retail price of $19.99 for each platform. It is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
