During those hot summer days, people do a number of different things. They go to the beach, they stay inside and enjoy the air conditioner, and they die savagely. When you’re in a major touring band like Cannibal Corpse, you do none of those things- with the possibility of near death and being the cause for complete brutality while headlining this years Summer Slaughter Tour. Guitarist Pat O’Brien of this legendary death metal monolith was able to squeeze in an interview with Chris Butera at Irving Plaza in NYC to talk about some of his favorite bands on the tour, being a live member of Slayer and much more.
