Kerry Washington Pulls Double Duty on SNL

This week’s “Saturday Night Live” host Kerry Washington kept things interesting in a curtain raiser that also featured civil rights activist and MSNBC talk-show host Rev. Al Sharpton.

Washington played first Lady Michelle Obama — promising to never leave the President’s side– in a sketch in the Oval Office with President Obama (Jay Pharoah). Because “SNL” doesn’t have African-American women in its cast, Washington was “asked” to also change into another costume and come back as Oprah Winfrey.
