Nintendo Launches Wii Mini Console This Holiday Season for $99.99

Nintendo announced via press release today that they would release a new, smaller version of the Wii console this holiday season that will come with “Mario Kart Wii.”

The system will also come with a red Wii Remote Plus controller and a red Nunchuk controller. According to Nintendo, it will carry a suggested retail cost of $99.99. The new smaller system will not have Internet compatibility either. There was no word if the system would be backwards compatible with the Nintendo Gamecube like the standard Wii console.
