NXT Power Rankings: Technical Snafu Can’t Ruin Good Show

“NXT Arrival” showcased the up and coming stars of the WWE in grand fashion. With a solid card and just enough wrestling action, the WWE Network’s first live show was a worthwhile and fun show in spite of several technical difficulties that made it almost impossible to watch the show live.

Check out our NXT Power Rankings to see which one of these future WWE Superstars has what it takes to make it in the big leagues.

Honorable Mention: Mojo Rawley: This kid stays hyped. He’s got a lot of energy and has a catchphrase, which is more than many of the other NXT stars. While his match with CJ Parker left something to be desired, he’s got some strength and personality and can definitely be molded.

5: Bo Dallas: The longest-reigning NXT Champion may have been dethroned, but that doesn’t mean all is lost. With experience on RAW and Smackdown already, Dallas has a plethora of potential.

4: The Ascension: Konnor and Viktor are solid athletes that work very well together. Straight ahead brawlers with a nice blend of speed and technical ability, the two NXT stars dismantled the former WWE Tag Team Champions Too Cool without breaking too much of a sweat. With a nifty Double Team finisher, this guys are worth keeping an eye on.

3: Paige: Imagine pop culture icon Elvira in wrestling gear. Ivory-skinned with jet black hair, Paige is beyond sexy. But like a black widow spider, this gal can fight. In a tough, strike and submission-filled bout with new RAW Diva Emma, Paige won with a nice Scorpion Crosslock submission to retain her NXT Women’s Title.

2: Sami Zayn: Not many guys can go out and have a match with Antonio Cesaro where they can hold their own physically, but that’s exactly what Zayn did. Known for his time in Ring of Honor as El Generico, Zayn marveled at times and sold well at others. Despite lacking in size, Zayn has a huge heart an plenty of athletic ability. Simply put, his match with Cesaro this week was pay per view quality.

1: Adrian Neville: Imagine a slightly beefier Evan Bourne. With a one of a kind finisher, a great look and a ton of stamina, the new NXT Champion is one of the best young talents in the sport today. With the gold now firmly around his waist, he’ll have an even bigger opportunity for superstardom.
