Nintendo Offers Free ‘Pokemon X or Y’ for New 3DS and 2DS Owners

Those who register a new Nintendo 3DS, 2DS or 3DS XL on Nintendo’s Club Nintendo website and buy one of six participating games, will get “Pokemon X or Y” for free, Nintendo said in a press release.

In order to claim one of the games, both the console and one of the participating games, “Mario Kart 7,” “Super Mario 3D Land,” “Animal Crossing: New Leaf,” “Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D,” “LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins” and the upcoming “Yoshi’s New Island,” must be bought between March 1 and March 31. The downloadable code for the redeemable game must be used by May 31.
