TNA Impact Wrestling Coverage: More of the Same is a Good Thing

Eric Young is still TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Magnus and Abyss still hate each other.

Dixie Carter is still fighting with Bully Ray.

Ethan Carter III still has drama with Kurt Angle.

Things haven’t changed much in TNA the past few weeks, but that’s not a bad thing.

Even with Sacrifice over and done with, there are several feuds that continue to develop and with the returning Knux and Gail Kim’s return to form in the Knockouts Division, TNA continues to surprise.

Matches:

Gunner vs. Mr. Anderson: James Storm got involved in the evenly matched bout and accidentally hit Anderson with a kick that allowed Gunner to nail his opponent with the F5 for the win.

Gunner vs. Bobby Roode: Gunner was in control for most of the match, but after a missed Headbutt from the top rope, Roode hit the RoodeBomb for the win and World Title shot later in the night.

James Storm vs. Willow: Storm was in trouble early on after Hardy hit the Stunner, but Storm got the match thrown out after hitting an official. After the bell, Anderson got his retribution from earlier as he hit Storm with the Mic Check on the ramp.

TNA Tag Team Champions Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards and X-Division Champion Senada vs. Jessie Godderz, Robbie E and Zema Ion: The former champs got destroyed, mainly Robbie E, who was the victim of a Senada Moonsault and two Diving Double FootStomps from the Tag Team Champions.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young vs. Robert Roode: Both competitors kicked out of each other’s finishers and traded a handful of near-falls, but Young eventually got the hard-fight pin fall with his signature Elbow Drop.
