With no appearance from John Cena or even a promo by WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan, this week’s Main Event was a simple tease, with PayBack just a few days away.
Aside from the continuing drama between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella, seeing Damien Sandow in a hip-hop outfit was enjoyable, but overall, with a few routine matches, Main Event did little to entertain.
Matches:
Natalya Neidhart vs. Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella:Â Neidhart reversed the Boston Crab into her Sharpshooter for the submission win.
Eric Rowan and Luke Harper w/Bray Wyatt vs. The Usos:Â Harper’s Discus Lariat earned the Family the win while Wyatt added a Sister Abigail for the exclamation point.
R-Truth vs. Damien Sandow:Â The WWE’s Intellectual Savior thrived at times, but had the You’re Welcome countered into Truth’s Little Jimmy for the win.
