Crystal Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Review: Same as He Ever Was

Mickey Mouse’s inclusion in the original “Disney Infinity” was a cool event. The fact that he was garbed in his classic “Fantasia” costume made it even more special. Fast forward to “Disney Infinity 2.0” and Mickey’s inclusion this time around is still a worthwhile one, but only to those who haven’t experienced the magic yet.

Simply put, there’s no upgrades here. Aside from the “new” look, the character plays virtually identical to last year’s Mickey. Like last year’s character, Crystal Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey is only compatible in the Toy Box, limiting how much use you can get out of him unless you’re a builder. However, the fact that it works in the original game gives it just enough versatility to make it something that isn’t a complete waste of time.
