Impact Wrestling Coverage: TNA vs. GFW Continues as Wolves Reclaim Tag Titles

The battle lines are drawn. TNA vs. GFW will happen at Lethal Lockdown, with one team coming out as the winner and taking over Impact Wrestling. While Jeff Jarrett and his assortment of Indie stars and former TNA and WWE performers have bolstered the overall product of the show, they’ll need more than Chris Masters, Curt Hawkins and Justin Gabriel at Lethal Lockdown to make the event a memorable one.

While this week’s Impact saw the crowning of new TNA Tag Team Champions and a few other storyline developments including Eric Young’s ascension to Global Force, the payoff isn’t quite there yet. While the double-cross of Bobby Roode is the most-likely scenario at Lethal Lockdown, the hope is that something special occurs that changes both promotions for the better.


Ethan Carter III & Tyrus vs. Matt Hardy & Rockstar Spud: An interesting bout that shows Jeff Hardy isn’t ready to obey ECIII. While Tyrus got the win with the Spike, Hardy refused to take out Spud with a chair.
