WWE Payback 2016 Coverage: No Balor, Reigns Still Champ, Enzo Injured

Between Shane and Stephanie McMahon’s power struggle and a wild main event, Payback 2016 was solid, but there was absolutely no sizzle. Why no Finn Balor? Why no clear Bullet Club formation? While the main event was an entertaining one that kept you on the edge of your seat, it could have stole the show. It could have been one of a kind. It was not.
Roman Reigns is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and things have never been more boring, in spite of all of the roster additions and spice added to RAW and Smackdown over the past month. Something has got to give and soon.


Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin:
A solid match that saw Ziggler sell a ton, as Corbin hit strikes galore and an awesome Alley Oop on the outside into the ring post. While Ziggler hit the Fame-Asser and other signature offense, it was a Rollup on a cocky Corbin that earned Ziggler the win.
