Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Title vs. Title

Away from the wackiness of the Final Deletion, this week’s episode of Impact was a super solid one with every title paid attention to and plenty of drama. Add in the Title for Title match between Eddie Edwards and Bobby Lashley and there’s plenty to be excited about.

Check out this week’s Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who’s ready for Destination X.

Moving Up: The Bromans: A win over Decay has these guys moving in a direction that’ll benefit the thin TNA Tag Team Division.

Honorable Mention: Jade: A nunchuck and a Package Piledriver?! Jade is one tough Knockout and she proved it in a Street Fight win over Marti Bell. With that angle basically complete, it’ll be interesting to see where she goes from here.

5: Eli Drake: The TNA King of the Mountain Champion got purposely disqualified in his match with James Storm, but you’ve got to like the Champion’s snarly heel attitude. He’s got a ways to go, but he continues to get better every week.

4: Eddie Edwards: His recapturing of the X-Division title this week on Impact skyrockets him back into importance in TNA. One of the best Tag Team performers in TNA, Edwards has looked solid as a singles competitor, but needs more in-ring time. Having the X-Division title around his waist again and challenging Bobby Lashley for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is a great way to begin that process.

3: Mike Bennett: In spite of losing the X-Division Championship this week on Impact, Bennett has vowed to “ruin” Destination X. With Maria Kanellis by his side, anything can happen.

2: The Hardy Boys: The Final Deletion was hilarious and memorable for all the wrong reasons. Now that it’s over, can we please get back to our regularly scheduled programming?

1: Bobby Lashley: He’s gotten so much better on the mic over the past few months and his confidence shows. His challenge to Eddie Edwards to have a title for title match next week on Impact can change everything.
