The night after Clash of Champions was a wacky one and if you missed it, you’re sadly still in the loop. Away from Sheamus and Cesaro forming a tag team, everything is just as the WWE left it on Sunday.
Matches:
United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. Rusev w/Lana: Rusev worked hard to sell and actually wrestled here, but the match ended in a Double Count-Out
WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston w/Xavier Woods vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Anderson and Gallows did everything right here, except win. Although they hit Big E. with the Magic Killer, Kingston got the win with The Trouble In Paradise.
Bayley vs. Anna Fields: A squash as Bayley won with her Bayley-to-Belly Suplex.
Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander vs. Lince Dorado and Drew Gulak: An enjoyable back and forth that ended after Alexander took out Dorado with the Lumbar Jack and Swann hit a massive Rich Kick on Gulak.
Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Nick Cutler and Willis Williams: What you talking about Willis? We’ll never know because he and his team were squashed.
Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins vs. Anthony Nese: An enjoyable mate as Nese looked incredible, but Perkins stole the win with the Fireman’s Pele Kick and the Knee Bar.
WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady: A weird match that felt like ti should have topped the first hour. Owens got the win with the Pop-Up Powerbomb.
