Review Fix chats with “The Church in the Darkness” creator Richard Rouse III, who discusses the awesome voice-acting cast in the game, which features Ellen McLain (best known as GLaDOS in Portal) and John Patrick Lowrie (the Sniper from Team Fortress 2) as cult leaders Rebecca and Isaac Walker. Known as the creator of the Xbox cult-hit “The Suffering,” Rouse is all about creating new boundaries for games and producing games that have no definable genre and with its view reminiscent of the Balder’s Gate series and stealth elements the likes of Metal Gear, as well as it’s unique concept and story, it’s got all the makings of a title that forces AAA publishers to look closer at the stories being told on the independent game scene. Set for an early 2017 release, “The Church in the Darkness” is looking like a game that’ll surprise a lot of people.
