Review Fix Exclusive: Inside ‘The Church in the Darkness’

Review Fix chats with “The Church in the Darkness” creator Richard Rouse III, who lets us know what inspired the game, his lengthy research process for it, as well as his goals following release.

Known as the creator of the Xbox/PlayStation 2 cult-hit “The Suffering,” Rouse is all about creating new boundaries for games and producing games that have no definable genre and “The Church in the Darkness” is no exception. With a story that changes every time you start a new game, it’s a narrative that has unlimited possibilities. Set for an early 2017 release, “The Church in the Darkness” is looking like a game that’ll surprise a lot of people.
