GFW Impact Coverage: LAX Continues to Dominate

Although the storyline is still flat, the in-ring action was solid, making this week’s episode of Impact a decent one overall.

El Hijo de Fantasma and Marufuji vs. Lardo Kid and Garza Jr.: No storyline implications here but it was a fun one. Marufuji hit the Sliced Bread on Garza Jr. for the win.

Kongo Kong vs. Grado and Joseph Park: Kong beat Park with a Corner Cannonball a-la Kevin Owens. After the match, Laurel Van Ness and Tyrus got involved. Where is this going?

Street Fight: GFW Unified Tag Team Champions LAX: Santana and Ortiz w/Konnan, Homicide and Diamante vs. Veterans of War: Wilcox and Mayweather: The numbers game was in full effect as LAX won with a Cannonball through a table on Wilcox after Mayweather got handcuffed to the turnbuckle.

Super X Cup Semi-Finals: Ishimori vs. ACH: An excellent back and forth that Ishimori won with a 450.

Low-Ki, Trevor Lee, and Bobby Lashley vs. GFW Unified World Champion Alberto El Patron, Matt Sydal, and GFW X-Division Champion Sonjay Dutt: A decent way to combine all these angles that saw Low-Ki beat Dutt with the Warrior’s Way for the win.
