GFW Impact Victory Road Coverage: oVe Wins Tag Team Gold, Drake Retains

Four solid matches, some storyline development- why can’t Impact be like this every week?

Matches:

X-Division Champion Trevor Lee w/Caleb Konley vs. Petey Williams: Plenty of back and forth and Williams looked primed to hit the Canadian Destroyer, but interference from Konley, the X-Division Belt and a Standing Double Foot Stomp gave Lee the win.

Taya Valkyrie, Sienna and Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim, Allie and Rosemary: This was a good match, but the cheesy School Boy, legs on the ropes way Sienna won just deflated the air out of the contest.

GFW Tag Team Championship Match: LAX: Santana and Ortiz w/ Konnan and Diamante vs. oVe: Dave and Jake: This was a war and simply put, these two teams have to fight again. oVe got the win after they escaped the Street Sweeper and nailed a modified Hammerlock DDT.

GFW Global Champion Eli Drake w/Chris Adonis vs. Johnny Impact: Drake got the win with the Low Blow and Gravy Train in typical heel fashion, but Impact kicked him around the ring and Drake took the beating the way a champ should. After the match, however, LAX and Adonis destroyed Impact and Garza Jr.
