NXT Coverage: Authoring The Pain

Four solid matches and plenty of storytelling intrigue continue to prove that NXT is the best show on the WWE Network.

Ember Moon vs. Ruby Riot vs. Sonya Deville: Every competitor got their licks in, but Moon won with Eclipse on Deville, who worked over Riot with an Ankle Lock.

Aleister Black vs. Raul Mendoza: Black won with the Black Mass in spite of some early strikes from Mendoza and annoyance from The Velveteen Dream.

Kassius Ohno vs. Cezar Bononi: Ohno won with the Discus Forearm, but Bononi worked hard and didn’t get squashed.

NXT Tag Team Champions: Sanity: Eric Young and Alexander Wolf and Killian Dane vs. The Undisputed Era: Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly: A war. Great isolation on Wolfe, which allowed Dane to get a ton of support from the fans when he got tagged in. However, interference from The Authors of Pain gave Sanity the win through DQ rather than pinfall.
