Impact Wrestling Coverage: Tag Team Insanity

The continued mix of Lucha Underground Stars and the surging Impact roster continues to give the show an unmistakable aura of excitement. This is a show on the rise. Simple as that. Even with a bevy of Tag matches, there was still drama to be had.

Matches:

Impact Knockouts Champion: Su Yung and The Undead Maid of Honor vs. Allie and Kiera Hogan: An interesting bout that saw Yung take out Hogan with the Panic Switch but Allie hit a surprise Code Breaker for the win. After the match however, Tessa Blanchard hit Allie with the Hammerlock DDT.

The OGz: Hernandez and Homicide w/ King vs. Ray Steele and Nathan Smokes: Squash that Homicide ended with the Gringo Killer after Hernandez did plenty of damage on his own.

The Desi Hit Squad: Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh w/Gama Singh vs. KM and Fallah Bahh: After an Eye Poke, Bahh has the referee distracted but a Leaping Complete Shot from Raju gave the DHS the win.

Grado and Joe Hendry w/ Katarina vs Eli Drake and The Cult of Lee: Caleb Conley w/Trevor Lee: Grado got distracted from Hendry holding Katarina, which allowed Drake to win with The Gravy Train.

Impact World Champion:Austin Aries vs. Dustin Cameron w/Anthony Carelli: Aries destroyed the rookie and Carley three in the towel. After the match, Edwards took out Aries with a Kendo Stick. Later in the night, Killer Cross took out Carelli.

Fenix and Pentagón Jr. vs. oVe w/Sami Callihan: A wild match that was absolutely PPV quality. This feud isn’t going to stop. Fenix and Pentagon won with the Double Pentagon Driver combination.
