NXT Coverage: Submissions and Air Guitars

Nothing against the solid Six-Woman Tag Main event, but the highlight of this week was the opening between Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and the Velveteen Dream, as well as the debut of Eric Bugenhagen.

Matches:

Jaxson Ryker w/Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake vs. Mansoor: Ryker dominated and got the win with The Clash of the Titus.

Drew Gulak vs. Eric Bugenhagen: Gulak got the quick win with the Dragon Sleeper w/Scissors, but Bugenhagen’s entrance was the best part of the match.

Drew Gulak vs. Matt Riddle: After Gulak’s match with Bugenhagen, the 205 Live standout proclaimed himself the best submission man in WWE, to only get tapped out by Riddle’s Bromission.

Bianca Belair and The Sky Pirates: Io Shirai and Kairi Sane vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir: Shirai got the win with a beautiful Springboard Moonsault on Baszler, in a run match with plenty of offense and spots.
