205 Live Coverage: Nese and Tozawa Tear House Down

By Patrick Hickey Jr.

Drew Gulak has promised a new 205 Live, but his first week as champ was business as usual. Some good in-ring action and pockets of storyline development made for a good, but unsexy show.

Matches:

Jack Gallagher vs. Mike Kanellis w/Maria Kanellis: Gallagher won with a nasty stiff Standing Headbutt and Kanellis walked through the crowd in disgust after the match.

Humberto Carrillo vs. Rob Rollenbeck: Nothing special here as Carrillo won with the Splash.

Tony Nese vs. Akira Tozawa: Best match this week on WWE programming. Nese won with a Piledriver variation. The two combatants hugged after the bout.
