WWE RAW Coverage: Sasha is Back

The return of Sasha Banks and a slew of foundational matches set the scene for a solid, yet safe episode of RAW.

Matches:

Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn: Joe got the quick and aggressive win with the Kokina Clutch.

Dolph Ziggler vs.The Miz: Still injured after getting destroyed by Goldberg, the Showoff got tapped out by The Miz.

Elias vs. Ricochet: Ricochet won with a Rollup variation, but Elias’ shoulders weren’t down.

Two-Out-Of-Three-Falls: Andrade w/Zelina Vega vs. Rey Mysterio: Vega held down Mysterio’s legs to get him the first fall. Andrade then got the clean sweep with the Hammerlock DDT.

Cedric Alexander vs. Drew McIntyre: McIntyre won with the Claymore, but Alexander was amazing and nearly won several times.

Bobby Roode vs. No Way Jose: Roode got the squash win with the Glorious DDT.

Lucha House Party: Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado w/Kalisto vs. The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: This got thrown out after R-Truth showed up and lost and regained the 24/7 Title. But by the time it was all over, Elias had the title around his waist.

The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar vs. Enhancement Talent: Another meaningless squash from The Viking Raiders courtesy of The Viking Experience.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss vs. The Kabuki Warriors: Kairi Sane and Asuka: Another excellent matchup between these two teams. Cross nailed Sane with the Neckbreaker Variation to set up the Twisted Bliss for the win.

Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion AJ Styles w/RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: This one got thrown out as The OC beat on Rollins to end the show. Ricochet hit the ring for support, but Gallows and Anderson nailed him with The Boot of Doom. Braun Strowman then hit the ring and hit Styles with two Running Powerslams.
