Capitol Wrestling World War IV Results: Colby Wins It All

Capitol Wrestling invaded Brooklyn on Saturday Night for World War IV, an epic night of Professional Wrestling to end the year with a bang.

Matches:

Wrecking Ball Legursky vs. Intern Lucas w/ Zac Amico: Wrecking Ball demolished intern Lucas with a Spin-Out Sidewalk Slam.

“The Boujee Boy” Griffin McCoy and “Big Game” Leroy Green vs. The Ugly Ducklings: Lance Lude and Rob Killjoy w/ Coach Mikey: The Ugly Ducklings got the win with the Launchpad thanks to infighting between McCoy and Green. 

Capitol Wrestling Women’s Championship Match: “The Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich w/ “The Femivist” Portia Vaugn” vs. The Capitol Wrestling Women’s Champion: Roni “Big Bang” Nicole: The Champ retained her title in convincing fashion with a Full Nelson Slam into a Vader Bomb.

“The Five Tool Player” Anthony Bowens vs. “The Jersey Muscle Jock” Steve Gibki: Gibki got revenge for the low blow by handing Bowens a clean loss with a Fireman’s Carry Powerslam. 

Capitol Wrestling Television Championship Match: Representing Hot Bois International: “Truly Blessed” KC Navarro w/ Lucky 13 and Eric Martin vs. The Sapphire Television Champion: Anthony Gangone:  The ref was briefly out of commission and Wrecking Ball Legursky came out of nowhere to plant Gangone with a Powerbomb on the apron. Navarro took advantage with a picturesque Frog Splash to become the new Sapphire Television Champion. 

World War IV Match: The Hudson County Horror Show: Meadowlands Monster and Michaels Amadyo w/ Zac Amico and The Carter Group: Ron Starr, Dave Reed, and “Wrestling’s Richest Prize” Darius Carter vs. “Colossal” Mike Law, “The Shamrock Shooter” Killian McMurphy, Casanova Valentine, and Ken Dixon: Thanks to a dirty ref and a slew of shenanigans, The Hudson County Horror Show and The Carter Group stole the victory with a fast count. 

Capitol Wrestling Freestyle Championship Match: “The Neon Ninja” Facade w/ Dani Mo vs. The Capitol Wrestling Freestyle Champion: Ghost Shadow:  Ghost Shadow retained his Freestyle Championship with a Release Alabama Slam in a match that was all gas pedal. After the bell, Deranged jumped the guard rail and beat the ref within an inch of his life, and gave Harry Terjanian a warning that if he didn’t give him a match for the Freestyle Championship in 2020 he would make the referee bleed. Terjanian agreed to give him the match, but first, he threw him out of the building. 

Capitol Wrestling Tag Team Championship Match Hot Bois International: Lucky 13 and “The Classic” Eric Martin vs. The Capitol Wrestling Tag Team Champions: The Rep: Nate Carter and Dave McCall w/ Maven Bentley and Julius Smokes: The match ended in a double count-out when the two teams took the brawl to the outside but the Rep stood tall in the end after hitting Martin with a Flapjack Flatliner and putting 13 through a door. 

Capitol Wrestling Championship Match: “The Unwanted Son” Colby Corino vs. The Capitol Wrestling Champion: “The Notorious 187” Homicide: Corino rolled up Homicide after he face-panted on an exposed turnbuckle to become the new Capitol Wrestling Champion. The Notorious 187 made Corino pay with a beatdown and wouldn’t give up the title. The Ugly Ducklings ran out to make sure their former stablemate was okay, and chased Homicide to the back.
