AEW Dark Results: Best Friends For Life

This week’s episode of Dark was jam-packed with excellent action and a surprising amount of story progression. Mel and Luther put Awesome Kong through a beating that she won’t forget anytime soon leaving a questionable future for the Nightmare Collective.

Matches:

Jurassic Express: Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy w/ Luchasaurus vs. “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss and Brandon Cutler: Stunt and Jungle boy scored the win with an Assisted Diving Cutter from the top rope.

Hikaru Shida vs. Mel w/ Luther and Awesome Kong: A miscommunication between Mel and Kong gave Shida the opening she needed to hit the Running Knee and pick up the win. After the match, Luther and Mel turned on Kong and threw her a beating.

“Superbad” Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford vs. The AEW Women’s World Champion: Riho and Kenny Omega: Sabian saw stars after a V-Trigger/ Crucifix Bomb combo, into a second V-Trigger, followed up by a One Winged Angel. He probably would have stayed down for a lot longer than a three-count.

Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor w/ Orange Cassidy vs. “The Chairman” Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard and Colin Delaney: Best Friends hit Delaney with Strong Zero to earn themselves the pinfall victory.
