NXT Coverage: Great American Bash Night One Stars

Five solid matches and plenty of mid-card build made for a fun week of NXT action.


Winner Becomes #1 Contender For Women’s NXT Title: Fatal 4-Way Elimination: Mia Yim vs. Tegan Nox vs. Candice LeRae vs. Dakota Kai: With no Raquel Gonzalez ringside, Nox hung in there and won with the Molly Go Round/Shiny Wizard for the win.

Oney Lorcan vs. Timothy Thatcher: Lorcan shined, but Thatcher put him away with the Fujiwara Armbar.

Rhea Ripley vs. Aliyah and Robert Stone: This was a fun one that saw Ripley won with a pair of Prism Traps.

Strap Match: Roderick Strong vs. Dexter Lumis: Strong was in the Driver’s Seat throughout and definitely carried Lumis, who won with The Silence.

NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks w/Bayley: An assist from Asuka with The Mist allowed Shirai to hit the Moonsault to retain.
